You may not realize it, but we're in the middle of a Lindsay Lohan media drought. After all, it's been nine whole days since everyone's favorite rehabber saturated the market with the last set of her pre-lockup sexy photo shoots.

Proving once again that crime does, indeed, pay (at least in Hollywood), reports are that Lindsay Lohan will be getting a cool million bucks for her first post-jail post rehab interview. And guess what? Savvy TV mouthpiece Nancy Grace uses her formidable knowledge of the criminal mind to reveal exactly where that cash will be going.

Lohan's Lawyer: Lindsay Kept it 'Classy'!

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley says Lindsay did the "dignified" thing by making a secret exit from jail -- instead of doing a red carpet walk for the media -- à la Paris Hilton.

Holley also says LiLo wasn't even jonesin' for a cigarette when she walked out of Lynwood ... where smoking's a no-no.

Lindsay Lohan looking forward to 'light at end of tunnel'

Jail hasn't exactly been easy for her, but Lindsay Lohan is getting through it by focusing her attention elsewhere.

"She's looking forward to her release," attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said Thursday after visiting the actress, 24, at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, for about an hour. "It's a light at the end of the tunnel."

Lohan is "fine, she's good," adds Chapman Holley, though she says she's "not exactly sure" when the star's jail term will be over.

Lohan started serving her 90-day sentence on July 20 for violating probation in a DUI case. The Sheriff's Department has said she could be released as early as Sunday. She will then be headed to an inpatient rehab center.

Also paying the actress a visit the same day as her attorney: ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, mom Dina and sister Ali.

Asked if the family would be spending time with Lohan before she goes to rehab, Dina told PEOPLE, "We hope so."

Lindsay Lohan Shot Vanity Fair Cover Right Before Jail

Gossip Cop can exclusively report that shortly before Lindsay Lohan went to jail she gave Vanity Fair an interview for its October cover.

We’re also told Lohan did a photo shoot in L.A. on her birthday (July 2) aboard what was once Judy Garland’s yacht.

A source says the shoot by Norman Jean Roy was “amazing,” and comprises “some of the most beautiful photos of Lindsay” ever taken.

Lohan was dressed in an evening gown, which covered her SCRAM bracelet, and looks like a glamorous movie star from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Of course, the article was planned some time ago, and was supposed to be tied to the September release of her film, Machete.

And while our sources say there were questions after Lohan was sentenced as to whether she would still do the interview, the actress stuck to her word, even as other outlets were reportedly offering her hundreds of thousands of dollars to talk.

Gossip Cop hears Lohan spoke candidly about her life, including her current legal predicament.

At present, this is the only confirmed sitdown Lohan has conducted since her sentencing.

A Vanity Fair spokesperson would not comment.

Lindsay Lohan's Jail Neighbor!

Lindsay Lohan is locked up 23 hours a day in her cell at Lynwood jail but she might want to try to have words with her new neighbour behind bars today.

She is 20-year-old Reality TV star Alexis Neiers, who is serving 180 days in the same protective custody wing after being convicted of being a member of the celebrity 'Bling Ring' that burgled a number of celebrity homes in Los Angeles, including Lohan's, in the Hollywood Hills in 2009.
Former Lynwood inmate Paris Hilton was also a victim of the Bling Ring as were Rachel Bilson and Orlando Bloom.


While Neiers confessed to and is only serving time for stealing from Bloom's home, it's pretty clear that the pair will have much to chat about if they can make themselves heard through the cell doors.
However, given that Lohan will not be allowed any of her own bling in jail, her possessions are probably safe, especially since all inmates receive the same standard-issue accessories which consist of a set of basic toiletries.

Hopefully Neiers, who stars in the Reality show Pretty Wild, won't have her eyes on Lohan's toothbrush.

Neiers' mother also has some advice for Lohan's mum Dina about how long it's going to take to see her daughter at the bleak Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, 40 minutes south of downtown Los Angeles.

'My daughter told me the first time she called from jail that I had to get there no later than 6 in the morning,' Arlington told celebrity website Radaronline.com.

'You have to get up at 4am and get in line by 5.30am if you want to be able to see your inmate before somebody else sees them.'

'You sit there for three hours because visiting hours don’t start until 8:30am. There are people who sleep on cots outside the jail waiting to see their inmate.'

TMZ has obtained Lindsay Lohan's brand new mug shot -- in which she's dressed in an orange jumpsuit and cracking a smirk.

The photo was taken moments after Lindsay arrived at the Lynwood Correctional Facility to begin her 90-day jail sentence.

According to her booking sheet, Lindsay checked in at 5'6" and weighs 118 lbs.

As we previously reported, Lindsay will only serve 23 days because of overcrowding.

Though she was sentenced on July 6, Lindsay Lohan was given until Tuesday, July 20 to report to jail to begin serving her time. According to her lawyer (attorney Robert Shapiro, who made a name for himself defending O.J. Simpson a decade-and-a-half ago), Lohan will be reporting to a facility in Los Angeles as scheduled. In the two weeks since she has been sentenced, Lohan appears to have spent most of her time at a sober house in West Hollywood, which is a particularly shrewd move on the part of the troubled actress and singer. Rather than trying to cram in all the partying she would have been missing over the next three months, she began work on getting better. This morning (July 19), she was visited by her mother Dina at the facility.

Turns out, cyber criminals are creating fake Lindsay Lohan-related web pages in an attempt to dupe unsuspecting web-surfers into clicking on "poisoned" links ... links that could contain viruses programmed to steal your personal info.

Now, Lindsay has teamed up with Norton AntiVirus to combat the issue -- releasing the following statement:

“I know I am very newsworthy, especially with everything going on and I’d hate to see my current situation cause frustration or damage to my fans.”

She adds, “If my friends and fans want to know what’s going on with me, they need to stick to reliable news media outlets and not click on just any link in a search result. Better yet, please follow my Twitter feed and get the news straight from me!”

Norton tells us that fans should be especially cautious of links promoting things like, "Pictures from inside the jail cell? Lindsay’s jailhouse diary?!"

Michael Lohan Believe Kim Kardashians Can Help Save Lindsay's Life

With Lindsay Lohan turning 24, many are wondering whether this year will truly be the actress’ moment to renew her career and her life.

One thing Lohan seems to have already jumpstarted is the expansion of her inner circle. The starlet has been recruiting some new friends, including reality TV vixen Kim Kardashian.

Kim and Lindsay have been writing to each other affectionately on their Twitter pages, with Kim even inviting the Mean Girls star to spend the Fourth of July with her in New York City.

Kim and Lindsay as Hollywood’s new bffs? The unlikely pair has more going for it than what meets the eye according to Lindsay’s dad Michael who believes Kim, 29, is the perfect person to get his daughter back on the right track.

“Since the time I first met Kim 2 years ago in New York, I’ve thought she was a good influence on Lindsay,” Michael told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Even back then, and Kim will tell you this, I told her that I wanted her to befriend Lindsay so that she could help steer her in the right direction. I mean, look at Kim and what she’s accomplished. If you watched that reality show Double Exposure… the Lindsay you saw on that show is not the Lindsay people remember at the pinnacle of her career.

Michael told RadarOnline.com that he hopes to get the opportunity to wish Lindsay a happy birthday in person, when he flies to LA for her July 6 court hearing.

“I hope I have the opportunity to take her to dinner for her birthday,” he said. “I hope this year only brings only the best people and things into her life. But the greatest gift for her will be for her to get through her court case coming up.”

Michael continued, “Lindsay can have her life back. She, more than anybody, has the power to get back on track, but she just has to do it. And I know she will.”

BRITNEY Spears‘ dad has banned the troubled singer from talking to her former party pal Lindsay Lohan.

Jamie Spears — who’s Britney’s co-conservator, meaning he’s in control of all her affairs — apparently hit the roof when he found out his daughter had been speaking on the phone with the Mean Girls actress.

“The trouble started when Lindsay reached out to Britney for advice on getting her career back on track,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“They simply chatted by phone — but when Britney mentioned it to Jamie, he exploded.

“He instantly phoned Lindsay’s managers and told them he would NOT tolerate further attempts to contact his daughter.

“Britney’s so totally humiliated — she feels like she’s 13 again. It’s embarrassing for her that she’s 28 years old, but her dad gets to tell her who her friends will be.

“On the other hand, Jamie’s trying to keep what he deems to be bad influences away from his daughter — and Lindsay certainly qualifies.”
