Chris Pine was spotted celebrating his friend’s birthday in the lounge of Hollywood hotspot Bardot on Saturday night (February 27).

A JustJared.com spywitness saw the 29-year-old Star Trek stud generously pick up the tab for his friend’s birthday. What a nice guy!

Chris was later seen chatting with Washington Redskins football player Ladell Betts, who was seated at another VIP table closeby.

The group later ventured out to the patio to catch the band Casxio, which has a fusion of disco, funk and rock n’ roll sounds.

E! News has learned exclusively that Star Trek star Chris Pine and actress/Attack of the Show host Olivia Munn have called it quits. The couple had been dating since August.

Sources tell E! News that things went south on Saturday morning for the couple, who had just enjoyed a romantic dinner at West Hollywood restaurant Madeo on Thursday night followed by partying at club Voyeur.

So what went wrong?

A source close to the couple says that Munn "was shocked and upset" when she learned Pine had been seen out with blonde actress Nathalie Walker Friday night at Hollywood's Roger Room.

A source says Pine reached out to Munn, who arrived in Sundance Friday, on the phone Saturday morning to apologize, but she wasn't having any of it.

"She wouldn't answer his calls and ended up texting him, telling him to leave her alone—forever," said the source.

When contacted late Saturday, Munn's rep declined to comment on the story.

E! News is reaching out to Pine for comment.

Chris Pine and Olivia Munn put on a united front and have dinner together at Madeo restaurant in West Hollywood together on Thursday (January 21).

The couple did, in fact, break up on Saturday night (January 16) before the Golden Globes. Maybe they’re back together now or working things out?

The day after the split, Olivia and her friends got in a little girl-bonding time. “Girl Day!!” she tweeted on Sunday. “Manis, pedis, massages, scrubs, braiding hair, making friendship bracelets, Color Me Mine and periods!”

The two kept their distance at the NY Times Style Magazine's Golden Globes cocktail party on Friday at the Chateau Marmont penthouse in West Hollywood. A source later told PEOPLE they've split up.

Munn and Pine, both 29, appeared cozy just two weeks ago, when they were spotted at The Woods in L.A., sipping cocktails and giggling together in the dimly-lit bar.
