She’s definitely received some serious attention for her sexed-up image as of late, but reports that Miley Cyrus is getting a boob job are completely false.

According to a tabloid source, the “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress is obsessed with her chest and can’t wait to get an upgrade.

The erroneous report said, “The only thing Miley Cyrus likes less than a flat note is a flat chest. [She has] already seen a plastic surgeon and aims to up her cups to Holly Madison proportions.”

However, Gossip Cop has learned from an inside source that Miley is definitely not getting breast augmentation, and that the “rumor is as silly now as when it first surfaced.”

iCarly beats Hannah Montana in ratings!

The ratings "battle" between Miranda Cosgrove and Miley Cyrus for their respective shows is suddenly not looking like too much of a battle at all. According to some of the newest numbers, the fourth season premiere of "iCarly" for Nickelodeon brought in 7.74 million viewers -- almost exactly two million more than a new episode of "Hannah Montana Forever".

"I've never faked it, saying that I'm always going to be Hannah forever."



There's irony in the title Hannah Montana Forever, which is what the fourth and final season of Hannah Montana is being called.

Pointedly, series star Miley Cyrus always has said she had no intention of playing Hannah Montana forever.

"I've never faked it, saying that I'm always going to be Hannah forever," said Cyrus, 17. "I'm going to grow up at some point. I've been always honest about that.

"So I think it has made the transition easier, because I never said I was going to be perfect. I never really put on a persona. I've always been really honest about who I am.

"And yes, I want to be a role model and have people look up to me. But this also doesn't mean that I am not going to live the way I want to live, or do what I think is right."

The truth is, Cyrus already has outgrown Hannah Montana, the fourth season of which debuts across Canada on the Family Channel Aug. 4.

Certainly as a singing and acting brand, Cyrus is not a little girl any more, nor does she carry herself that way. There always is that awkward period when kids from the Disney Channel -- which is Hannah Montana's network of origin in the United States -- start to mature and develop sex appeal, usually with unaired episodes of their wholesome TV series still in the bank.

"I think it's the right time (to end Hannah Montana) because we've been working since I was, you know, about 11," said Cyrus, the daughter of singer Billy Ray Cyrus, who also stars in the series. "That's when I did my first audition.

"So you know, there's only so much you can do. We don't really ever call it a kids' show, because it has been so much more. It has been more of a family show, because if it were just a kids' show, the parents and the older brothers and sisters don't necessarily want to watch."

Creatively, though, Hannah Montana is at a crossroads.

"You don't want it to grow up too much, where the younger audience feel they can't watch the show anymore," Cyrus said. "But also, you don't want to go backward and make it so young that you lose the older fans that you have."

All things considered, even though she already has moved on in so many ways, Cyrus said she will miss the stability of having Hannah Montana in her life.

"Probably just the security blanket," Cyrus said. "When I go on tour, when I go shoot a film, or whatever I'm doing, I always get to go back to that same rhythm that I know so well, and the same people, and know it's going to be a comfortable place and a good environment. That's not the same on every set.

"It's nice coming back to a set where you have people that you could be yourself around, before any of this craziness happened, before my records, before my movies.

"It sounds weird, but (Hannah Montana) seems almost like going to school, and I'll miss that."

'Two More Lonely People' fits nicely in an album full of dance-pop, Gaga-inspired numbers , all about breaking away from constraints and expectations -- which parallels struggles Miley's encountered in her own life.

Miley Cyrus says she plans to storm the stage at the House of Blues Sunset Strip on Monday (June 21) in Los Angeles, where she'll treat fans to a mini-concert, which happens to coincide with the release of her new album, Can't Be Tamed.

But before she kicks off her celebratory show, a few of the lucky group of fans who'll be at the venue Monday night had some Twitter questions for Miley. MTV News was happy to relay them to the pop star.

@Respectjustinb wanted to know if Cyrus and pal Justin Bieber had plans to join forces anytime soon.

"I don't have anything necessarily planned right now, but I wouldn't mind doing it in the future. I think he's cool," she said of the Canadian pop phenom.

Meanwhile, @riahtildesley wanted to know what the most romantic thing beau Liam Hemsworth had ever done for his "The Last Song" co-star.

"I was asked this question the other day," Cyrus told us. "We did this big aquarium thing. We went and swam with these dolphins and sharks," she recalled telling the interviewer. "And I was like, 'That was definitely scripted into our movie ['The Last Song'], so that doesn't really count as a date.' All the things [Hemsworth] was saying were fake. But it was very romantic," she joked of their fictional dates.

Finally, fan @Kati wanted to know what song Cyrus had the hardest time writing on her latest LP.

"The hardest was maybe ... they all came pretty natural. I can't really think of one that was super-hard," she said before finally settling on one. "Maybe 'Permanent December,' I was really busy when we recorded that and 'Every Rose [Has Its Thorn]' took some work too because we changed it up so much," she added of the Poison cover.

“I’m still a kid and I still do kid things,” Cyrus said. “Anyone who says, ‘She’s growing too quickly,’ doesn't know me personally. I am an entertainer and my show is mature for what I do in concert but, as my normal self, I’m pretty crazy.”

Miley has been criticised for ditching the wholesome Disney image associated with her Hannah Montana role in favour of a more raunchy look as she promotes her new album Can’t Be Tamed.

She appeared on the show sporting a rocker look and wearing leather trousers.

Letterman said: “Sitting here talking to you, you don't seem like a 17-year-old.

“You seem like you have matured through the process of performing as a kid – have you lost a childhood?”

Cyrus replied: “I don't think so, I’ve gone through awesome things and gotten to perform and do what I love, so for me, that's what I’ve always wanted to do.”

Quipped Letterman: “Are you looking for the warmth the spotlight can’t provide?”

She replied: “No, where do you find such things?!”

Kissing Miley Cyrus For Her New Video Was 'Weird,' Kevin Zegers Says

This week, stills from Miley Cyrus' latest video — for her song "Big Big Bang," off her June album, Can't Be Tamed(MTV is wrong. The song is by RockMafia, the people who produced "Can't Be Tamed," and will not appear on her new album.) — made their way online. In the photos, she's seen cavorting around downtown Los Angeles with actor Kevin Zegers. But Zegers says that having to kiss Cyrus for the video wasn't as fun as it sounds.

"Liam [Hemsworth] was there, and he seems like a very, very nice man, and my girlfriend, who actually works with Miley, was also there, so it was actually a lot stranger than it normally would be sort of making out with somebody on set," Zegers told MTV News. "Normally they don't really know the people in your life, but Miley knows my girlfriend quite well actually, and I got to meet Liam. These things are very weird."

Zegers says that the video, most of which is a dream that his character has, is going to have some action scenes. "[My character is] a parking attendant and he sees Miley's character drive by and he sort of goes into a dream sequence, which is a majority of the video," he revealed.

"And then something dramatic happens at the end. It's not all the making out, but there's a car accident at the end. So there were a lot of stunts."

For the clip, Zegers rocks a neck tattoo that he jokes was probably an effort to make him appear "more badass." But if fans are expecting the video to show a bawdy side of Cyrus, he says that isn't the case at all. "She's ... just a beautiful young woman sort of roaming around.

It's definitely not raunchy in any way," he explained, adding that the real-life Cyrus is just as clean-cut. "She's very polite and well-raised, which is a rarity for someone in her position. I think she's a total sweetheart."

Miley Cyrus On Growing Up & Double-Standards: ‘For Girls, It’s Harder’

Seventeen-year-old Miley Cyrus has come under fire recently for her grown-up, sexually charged performances and new song, “Can’t Be Tamed,” but the star told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush for Access and “The Billy Bush Show” that there’s a double-standard in Hollywood.

“Girls are immediately going to say, ‘Oh, she’s trying to sell sex,’” she told Billy of her current maturation. “Well, I love Zac Efron, but what’s he selling? He’s gorgeous, he’s hot, I don’t go see his movie because I’m like, ‘He’s such a fantastic actor.’ He’s a great actor, but he’s hot.”

Miley explained that her male colleagues also have it easier in the clothing department.

“He’s just not in a leotard with his legs out. He has his shirt off. So what’s the difference?” she continued. “In ‘High School Musical’… he’s in basketball shorts and his cutoff tank top and all the girls are dying.

“It just isn’t as obvious when guys do it,” she added. “I was on tour with the Jonas Brothers my first year and boy bands get away with a lot. For girls, it’s always going to be harder. That’s not an excuse, it just means we have to work harder.”

But does Miley’s boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, have to worry about a Zac attack?

“Liam’s hot too, but Zac Efron has a special place in my heart,” Miley gushed. “I am obsessed with Zac Efron. If it wouldn’t be creepy because he’s a friend, I would have posters on my wall.”

There comes a time in every Disney girl's career where she's ready to break free of the golden handcuffs that have held her for her formative years. Leaving those innocent days behind quietly, however, is near impossible for these Disney princesses. Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are the most notable cases of good girls gone bad, and Miley Cyrus follows in their footsteps with her own pièce de résistance, the music video for "Can't Be Tamed," which was released earlier this week. The video nods not only to her fellow vixens with Disney pasts, but also takes after Lady Gaga and Rihanna in crafting her debut as a "mature" and grown-up "artist."

The first step in a Disney girl's transformation is "the racy photo." Britney's iconic 1999 Rolling Stone cover affirmed her status as an 18-year-old sex symbol and stirred up quite the bit of controversy, while Miley's backless Annie Leibovitz 2008 Vanity Fair cover garnered a considerable amount of criticism, as well as a public apology from the singer herself.

After the photo, however, the inevitable racy video must follow. Here, Miley incorporates both old and new-school techniques to create the new standard for an "I'm A Woman Now" video:

1. Go artsy: The video features the singer as "Avis Cyrus" (subtle, much?) as "the rarest creature in the world," donning huge, black feathery wings, like a vision out of Angels in America. Miley's video leaves little to the imagination, however—the message is clear as day (as New York Magazine puts it, it's Gaga Lite), but fashion fiends might be able to pretend her getup is an homage to the late, great Alexander McQueen's final collection, which heavily featured feathers and carefully painted angel wings.

Couple that with the $25,000 silver peacock corset by The Blonds, and Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter has graduated from her cut-offs and cowboy boots to the world of forced couture. Wasn't it just yesterday that she she was singing about arriving in Los Angeles, realizing that "It's definitely not a Nashville party," complaining about not getting the memo about stilettos? Guess someone clued her in real quick.




The image of Miley Cyrus in the exotic costume seems frivolous, but it's also an eerily familiar one—Mena Suvari in the iconic poster for American Beauty. Described as a film about loneliness, imprisonment, and escape by director Sam Mendes, the themes align with the young singer's own message of feeling like a caged bird. American Beauty explored sexual reawakenings, which never fails to be the most prominent feature of every star's "mature" debut. The way in which this is executed, however, has evolved from the days of X-tina's chaps and Britney's thong-over-jean ensembles.

In an industry where fashion and art has come to play an equal role with music in a pop star's success more than ever, it's essential for Miley to prove that she can hang with the rest of the art-haus girls who have overthrown the cookie-cutter cheerleader types from the metaphorical lunch table in the cafeteria. So, flap those wings, girl!

"Don't change me," she warns. It's only a matter of time until we see Miley's MTV award show debut à la Brit Brit. In the meantime, however, a carefully-crafted video can work wonders for establishing her new image.

Miley Cyrus's Boyfriend gets a job!

Liam Hemsworth (upcoming The Last Song) has been cast in director Chuck Russell's action-adventure Arabian Nights.

Written by Russell and Barry P. Ambrose, the 3D period epic centers on a young commander (Hemsworth who, after his king is murdered in a coup, joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade.

Inferno Entertainment's Bill Johnson is producing with Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray of Mayhem Pictures. ROAR also is producing.

Filming is targeted for an end-of-summer start.

Liam's brother is Chris Hemsworth, who is now shooting Marvel Studios' Thor.
