Katy Perry has got a souvenir worth to remember during her recent trip to Toronto, Canada. Shortly after attending the aftershow party of the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards, the "California Gurls" singer has made a visit to a local hospital in the town to treat her injured leg and walked away with 17 stitches.
Sharing news of her being stitched up was Katy herself. "17 stitches later... Don't make fun of my dance moves tomorrow," the brunette beauty posted a Twitter message on Tuesday, June 22. "That's what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada :)!" Though so, she didn't disclose the exact location of her injury as well as when and how she hurt herself.
On Sunday, June 20, the fiance of Russell Brand made an appearance at the 21st Annual MuchMusic Video Awards. Hitting the red carpet
in a skin-baring bright blue Ashish dress, she later took the stage in another body-hugging outfit as she delivered her latest single "California Gurls" in front of the crowd gathering at the MuchMusic World Headquarters.
