Katy Perry Allowed Only Women and Gays to Video Shoot

Katy Perry banned all heterosexual men from the set of her "California Gurls" video - because she didn't want them to see her naked. Russell Brand's fiancee strips off in the sexy new promo, which sees her lying nude on cloud of cotton candy in one shot, while covering her breasts with cakes in another.

And Perry made sure it was a closed set on the day of filming - except for girls and gay men. She tells MTV News, "The cotton candy clouds! I was naked. It was really fun to do. We had to do like a closed set because we didn't want anyone seeing anything."

"You weren't allowed (on the set) unless you were a girl or you're gay; I think that's probably like the standard for all girlfriends. Anyways, I was really excited to do something like this and really nervous. But it turned out (okay)."

The music video was premiered earlier this week.
