Susan Boyle's family fear the fragile singer will have another emotional breakdown because of her 'crushing' loneliness

She has adoring fans all over the world and wants for nothing financially.

But despite the money and fame from her Britain's Got Talent discovery, Susan Boyle is suffering from a 'crushing' loneliness and fears she will never fall in love, her brother has revealed.

The spinster from West Lothian, Scotland, who has never had a proper relationship, sparked fears among family and friends that she could not cope with her new-found fame after being treated for an emotional breakdown as she launched her singing career.
Last week, she was spotted at Nice Airport, in France, being comforted by her manager Andy Stephens.

And now her brother Gerry has revealed that his 48-year-old sister fears that she'll never find love, is close to exhaustion - and cannot enjoy the trappings of her fame.

Miss Boyle made the tearful confessions to her brother in a series of desperate phone calls to his Musselburgh, Scotland home in the early hours of the morning.

Businessman Mr Boyle, 55, explained: 'Susan has the world at her feet in terms of fame and money but at this precise moment in time it means nothing. Absolutely nothing.

'The one thing she wants above all everything else is love. Who doesn't?

'Her biggest wish is to find someone who she can share her success with and support her through the difficult times.

'Of course her family will always be there for her but it is not the same as having someone special in your life.'

Since she hit the headlines after auditioning for - and then coming second in - last year's Britain's Got Talent, Miss Boyle has lived the life of a rock star, travelling all over the world performing and signing autographs for screaming fans.
