10 Celebs Who Liked Their Same-Sex, On-Screen Smooches

Ewan McGregor seems to be able to take on anything as an actor—be it full-frontal nudity or wielding a light saber. The actor also has a few same sex-kisses on his film resume, the most recent being in the upcoming “I Love You Phillip Morris.” The film is centered around a gay couple played by McGregor and Jim Carrey. Ewan says that the film couple ... “kiss, fondle, f**k, blow, suck, hold hands, dance, murmur, and eye. In short, they act like lovers do.” For Ewan the kissing seems to be his favorite among this list of verbs. McGregor admitted, “I like kissing boys on screen. As a straight guy, it’s quite an interesting proposition. Anything on a film set that takes you by surprise like that, that gets your blood up, is good.” Our blood is getting up too, Ewan, don’t worry. [Celebitchy]

Other celebrities have indulged in some kiss-and-tell. Here are nine more actors who say they enjoyed their on-screen, same-sex lip locks.

Megan Fox, actress by occupation and attention grabber by nature, fueled a few fantasies when she said that her kiss with Amanda Seyfried in “Jennifer’s Body” was her most comfortable kiss ever to film. Sorry, Shia! Perhaps more balm? [New York Daily]

Colin Firth fessed up about kissing Matthew Goode in “A Single Man,” saying smooching Goode was good! Pun intended I’m sure. [Zimbio]

Dakota Fanning and her celebrity haven’t traversed down Lindsay Lohan Lane yet, but the 15-year-old already had her first same-sex kiss. Kristen Stewart and Fanning swapped spit in “The Runaways” in what Fanning called a “passionate kiss.”

The buzz about the sexy cowboy combo of Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in “Brokeback Mountain” started months before the film’s release. Gyllenhaal revealed a little about the couple’s kisses, saying that with both their stubble, kissing Ledger felt like he was exfoliating his face. That’s the sexiest treatment for clogged pores I’ve heard about. [Star Pulse]

Neve Campbell (remember her?) took an exotic and erotic turn in the movie “Wild Things.” The film included numerous kisses with co-star Denise Richards along with the almost instantly infamous threesome scene. Campbell said that the numerous lip locks went well since Richards was such a great kisser. [FHM]

The phenomenon that “Twilight” built, Robert Pattinson, has had several same-sex smooches. Unfortunately for all the Twi-hards it wasn’t vamp-on-vamp action, but in the Salvador Dali biopic “Little Ashes.” Pattinson said that, overall, the situation was something new and amusing. [Pop Sugar]

So Mischa Barton may be off your radar lately, but it wasn’t too long ago that everyone knew her as “The O.C.“‘s Marissa Cooper. Barton said that the lesbian relationship she had on the show worked for her because she is much more comfortable kissing girls on screen. [AOL]

Diego Luna has shared two same-sex smooches: one with Sean Penn in “Milk” and the other with best friend Gael Garcia Bernal in the steamy “Y Tu Mama Tambien.” But who was better? Luna said that Bernal was the better kisser because he isn’t a smoker. Ball is in your court, Sean. I am thinking you may need to demand a rematch. [Zimbio]

Sarah Michelle Gellar is proud of her now iconic kiss with Selma Blair in “Cruel Intentions.” Gellar gushed that it was a great kiss, and was happy with the saliva trail. We all have our shining moments, I suppose. Hopefully most of them don’t include saliva. [Salon]
