The 'Tik Tok' star - who was unveiled as an MTV Video Music Award nominee earlier this week - told Billboard that she values her friendship with Lambert.
"In a business full of utmost douchebaggery, I'm really lucky to have found a real friend in him," she said.
Ke$ha added that it was "a little bit unfortunate" that Lambert was not among this year's VMA nominees, saying: "He [has] one of the best voices I've ever heard."
On her own three nods, including 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Female Video', she said: "I've been a skeptic as to whether or not I've 'made it' and when I got the phone call yesterday, I had to take a step back and be like, 'Maybe now I can officially think I've made it'."
She added: "I'm in a category with GaGa and Beyoncé. I think maybe I'm doing OK."
Lambert recently congratulated Ke$ha on her nominations over Twitter, writing: "Congrats on ur VMA noms @keshasuxx! Rockstar! Miss u! (sic)"
She later replied: "Thank you love!!!! i miss you too... I HAVE AN excellent naughty idea as well that you could be involved with... call a ho xx."
