Warner Bros. has set July 20, 2012 as the official release date for the follow-up to Christopher Nolan's wildly successful Batman film, The Dark Knight.
While there have been many rumours since the last film - casting, villians, etc - none of the above has been confirmed, including whether Christian Bale will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
The screenplay is currently being written by Nolan's brother, Jonah and David Goyen.
