She dotes on her chocolate Lab Esmeralda, and it looks like Anne Hathaway and her man may add another pup to their furry brood.
On Saturday, the actress and her boyfriend Adam Schulman (pictured last year) stopped by a West Hollywood, Calif., park to check out a pet adoption day. They stopped by Molly's Mutts & Meows volunteer animal rescue to see the dogs and cats who were being fostered.
While Molly's won't confirm or comment on individual adoptions to respect the privacy of potential pet parents, an onlooker at the park noted the pair were checking out a medium-sized terrier mix named Chuck.
"She said she had one dog and was looking to adopt a second one," says the source. "Most of the conversation was about Chuck, and whether he's good with other dogs, house-trained, mellow etc."
Will they be raising the dog they eventually settle on together?
"They used 'we' when talking about him," says the onlooker. The pair took down the information, and it remains to be seen if they'll adopt Chuck or another needy pup. Stay tuned ...
